As we approach August, students are getting ready to go back to school, and others to go for the first time (first time at school, moving up to Middle, Senior High, college, etc.).  Others are venturing out into the world to do something new.

Often, we find these times as challenging but more of the same – the back to school sales, the change in the schedule from summer to fall, the ongoing march of time.  But do we stop for a minute and look at the new?

God is calling us to see things in new ways, to see each other as brothers and sisters.  God calls us to love others, including those we might not see.  God is calling us to reach out, to be light in a world of darkness.  To do these things we need to renew ourselves and see things in new ways.

As you enter into yet another Monday, another week, another “here we go again”, do something new.  Think in a new way.  See things differently and allow God to show you something new.
